Currently Creative

Hmmm, not much to say business wise. Business is really good. Non stop work last few months, and looking to continue on this way for many more months. So good I had to hire the wife (sorry, future wife) to help with some of the work for me as well. So Creative compulsions has grown, from a 1 man operation to a two person conglomerate.

Number crunching galore.

1’s and 0’s can really add up in the digital world. Or so it seems. Computer has been a little “off” lately. Just not quite right. I do regular maintenance on it, but only minor things. On Sunday I had some home reno to do, so I figured I would do some computer reno at the same time. Did a full defrag of both hard drives, which took a coupe of hours to complete. Then a full system scan with chkdsk, which took another 3-4 hours.

That ate up a good chunk of time, so after that was done I caught up on a lot of work. After I cleared out some work, I ran a full system Anti-Virus and Spyware scan. Not sure how long that took, as I ran it over night. That should clear all the cobwebs and get my system running nice again.

Otherwise I will have to do a full back up and wipe the system clean and “get fresh”.

Time is an illusion.

Sure seems that way. Time slips by without me noticing. Days, weeks, months, years, all seem to flick by in the blink of an eye. Some times I have a hard time grasping time and making good use of it. Not long ago, I came to the realization that summer is pretty much over, and I spent most of it in front of a computer screen. I took a few weekends off, but no where near what I would have liked to do.

Unfortunately I did not come to that realization in time to make a change. So, time was lost before I knew it was there. Bummer.
