Happy holidays everyone. With X-Mas only a few days away things are getting exciting.

Great time of year. Spending time with family, eating the best foods your could possibly eat, getting gifts, and more importantly giving gifts. Love to see the reactions from my son when he opens all his gifts from Santa. This year will be the first in the past several that we are not hosting any Christmas party. Normally we have everyone over here for a dinner, but this year, we are going everywhere else. No less than three different places on Christmas day alone!

Normally the wife and I do not spoil our son with too many gifts (the grandparents do enough of that) but this year, for reasons unknown to me, we went a little overboard. Not with toys, but just stuff in general. So I am looking forward to the festivities.

This year, we get to record everything on our new MiniDV camera. I always wanted to have a video camera to record family functions and such, but have only been able to do it with our HP Digital Camera. Takes great still shots, but horribly poor video. That’s changed now, and I cannot wait to film everything.
