Mario got in touch with me back in 2006 to create a new website for his DJ company, “Let’s Dance” Music Service. Mario is an award winning local DJ and he needed a professional site to represent his company. We worked to create that site and built a site that was perfect for his company.
Fast forward 8 years and Mario is not only still a good client, but a good friend. 8 years is a long time for a website, so after a short discussion it was decided to relaunch the website with a whole new look and feel. Making it bright, easy to use, modern and most importantly responsive. The new site uses bright, fresh colours, with a music note hero bar to really capture the attention and define the sites purpose.
It uses a static header and footer area so the logo, phone number and menu are always present and it uses responsive HTML5 design coding so it works perfectly no matter what you use to browse it on. The site has an updated photo gallery and booking contact form and everything has been streamlined for a great new look.
The new site is built as a WordPress theme and built into the theme are several different page styles so that we can turn options on or off at will. Multiple sidebar widgets are used to make the site more dynamic (random testimonial snippets on main page) and allowing easy content changes. Want a page with no testimonials, or a left sidebar, or a right sidebar, or no sidebar or any combination of that, no problem. All sorts of options to keep this site going for another 8 years.
And the way Mario does business, I am sure this business will be going strong for a VERY long time.
