Mr. Update Pants Takes Trades

Wow, been awhile since my last post. Lots to say, just have not had the time to say it.

Really been busy getting projects done, and working on other less thrilling tasks.

Aside from client projects I had to move all my sites and some clients site to my new hosting company (Hosting Creativity). Previous host (Future Hosting)  had a severe server failure (AGAIN!) and took my sites down for 3.5 days. When it came back online, none of the sites worked right. This was only 1 of many issues I had with them (5 pages of support tickets). They have good customer service, but the servers are totally unreliable.

Wish I did not renew for a full year only 2 months ago because they do not give refunds. Anyone want unreliable hosting? I will give it to you for $2 a month. Cheap, but you get what you pay for. If you want real hosting that is reliable, and well priced, check out my new hosting company, Hosting Creativity.

After I finally decided to switch, it took me  a week to get it all set up on the new server, and since then, all is running nice.

In other news:

Financial times are tough on everyone, so I am going to make some new payment terms to make getting great web design even more affordable.

  1. 2% 15, Net 30. – Pay your quote in full within 15 days, and reduce amount by 2%. Or full amount within 30 days.
  2. Barter – No cash needed. Make me an offer of something I can use of equal value. Goods or services. If it is something I need or can use, we will exchange service. Good as cash. Not everything will be accepted, but can’t hurt to offer. Especially good for local businesses.

I will update agin on the weekend to post about some of the new client sites just recently launched for Marty, Dale, George and others.

Myles
