Tasks – Michael came to me through Greg McCullough of WebSight Creations. He has a very successful WordPress blog that had been hacked some time ago and taken offline. He was looking to have it restored to what it was, and upgraded with the new WordPress system, and better security.

There was no sign of any archives on the server, so I could not restore the entire site, but I did get the theme rebuilt with all hacked pages cleared out of it. I also updated it to the latest stable release of WordPress, added some security tweaks, and several plugins to enhance the system.

Once I got the site up and running again, I re-added all the links tot he sidebar, getting them from the Archive.org site. At least he is not start totally from scratch.

Michael has an interesting site with some pretty intense content, I recommend everyone checking it out. Within days of getting the site back online, he is already posting prolific content, AND has several commenters. An ongoing success!
