I do not know the reason for this, how to correct it, or how long it will last. But for some reason beyond my comprehension the new host for Creative Compulsions is blocking IP addresses at random and temporarily. Incredibly annoying and tiresome.
There are 2 work-arounds for this issue, until it is resolved.
1) If you have a dynamic IP, renew it. Usually just log off the net and log back on and you will be issued a new IP. Then try the site again, and all will be well. Annoying, but it works.
2) If you have a Static IP or do not want to renew your dynamic IP, wait about 12+ hours and everything will be fine.
I do not know how many people this will affect, it may only affect just me. If you have no issues with the site, ignore this.
For those of you who do get blocked, I am truly sorry for this trouble, and I ask that you do me a favour in resolving this issue. Please take note of the time you tried to access the site, your current IP address, and when you were able to get through. It would be much appreciated. Another step you can take is to do a Trace Route on creativecompulsions.com and see where it stalls.
Send all this info to me as I am keeping a record of this to send to the hosting company for resolution.
